With the victory, Southeast upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Golden Buffalo host Heights (Wichita, KS) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 7. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Heights won 69-28 in their recent non-league bout against South (Wichita, KS)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders (Wichita, KS) in a Greater Wichita City bout, on Tuesday, January 11. West will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 43-25 league loss to Bishop Carroll (Wichita, KS).
