The Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman Jaguars basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Alden-Conger Knights to 66 in the Jaguars league triumph on Thursday.
The Jaguars now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Clair for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 68-46 non-league loss to Martin County West (Sherburn, MN). The Cyclones record now stands at 4-5.
The Knights (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against United South Central (Wells, MN). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, United South Central nudged Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN), 65-53, in a league contest.
