Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Apollo Ridge knocked off by Ligonier Valley

January 5, 2023: Spring Church, PA 15686

The Ligonier Valley Rams basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Apollo Ridge Vikings to 31 in the Rams league triumph on Thursday.

The Rams now hold a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Shady Side Academy for a WPIAL 3A 3 bout on Tuesday, January 10. Ligonier Valley will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 54-23 league win over Valley (New Kensington, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.

Next up, the Vikings play the Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 3 bout, on Friday, January 6. Apollo Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 68-57 league loss to Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA).
