The Barbour County Jaguars (Clayton, AL) basketball nipped the visiting Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL), 68-65 in Thursday's league test.

The Jaguars (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Long (Skipperville, AL). The Rebels go into the 2A Area 3 test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Long was tipped by Abbeville (Abbeville, AL), 51-35, in a league test.
