Christ School Greenies (Arden, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC), 60-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Christ School upgrades its record to 19-1 on the season. The Greenies host Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC) to play the Blues in a NCISAA Carolinas bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Blues go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Asheville School (Independent) won 67-64 in their recent league bout against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA)

Next up, the Lions play the Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Asheville Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 71-30 non-league win over Australian Horizons (Horizon, Australian) (, NC).
