The Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA) basketball nipped the host Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA), 59-55 in Thursday's league test.

The Bald Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their test against River Valley (Blairsville, PA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, River Valley got by Homer-Center (Homer City, PA), 70-48, in a league test.

The Golden Tigers now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Penns Valley Area for a Mountain test on Monday, January 9.
