In Thursday's league outing, the Beulah Miners (Beulah, ND) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hazen Bison (Hazen, ND), by a margin of 70-44.

The Miners (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Hettinger/Scranton (Hettinger, ND). The Black Devils go into the B Region 7 outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Hettinger/Scranton was trounced by Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] (Belfield, ND), 51-42, in a league outing.

The Bison now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Des Lacs-Burlington for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14. Hazen will clash with a Lakers squad coming off a 57-40 non-league win over Rugby (Rugby, ND). The Lakers record now stands at 4-2.
