Idaho High School Basketball - Bonneville can't hold off Shelley

The Shelley Russets basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Bonneville Bees to 48 in the Russets league triumph on Thursday.

The Russets now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pocatello for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Shelley will battle a Thunder team coming off a 73-53 league win over Century (Pocatello, ID). The Thunder record now stands at 11-0.

The Bees (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Skyline (Idaho Falls, ID). The Grizzlies enter the 4A High Country contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Skyline was nudged by Madison (Rexburg, ID), 52-40, in a non-league contest.
