Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Brick Memorial Mustangs (Brick, NJ), 42-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Southern Regional upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Rams host Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ) to play the Green Wave in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Long Branch lost 73-42 in their recent non-league bout against Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ)

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 7. Brick Memorial will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record.
