Hunterdon Central Red Devils (Flemington, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers (Bridgewater, NJ), 64-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Hunterdon Central upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Haddon Township (Westmont, NJ) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Haddon Township lost 66-52 in their recent non-league bout against Sterling (Somerdale, NJ)

Next up, the Panthers play the South Brunswick Vikings (Monmouth Junction, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Bridgewater-Raritan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 63-53 league win over J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ).
