The Frankfort Panthers basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Buckley Bears to 63 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leland for a Northwest contest on Wednesday, January 11. Frankfort will battle a Comets team coming off a 60-32 league loss to Onekama (Onekama, MI). The Comets record now stands at 1-5.
The Bears (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Glen Lake (Maple City, MI). The Lakers enter the Northwest contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Glen Lake ran past Kingsley (Kingsley, MI), 45-19, in a league contest.
