The University Christian Barracudas basketball team (Hickory, NC), was overwhelmed 70-13 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC)

The Wildcats now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. Carolina Day will confront a Knights team coming off a 72-68 non-league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Knights record now stands at 5-7.

The Barracudas (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against North Hills Christian (Salisbury, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, North Hills Christian was overwhelmed by Central Carolina Prep (Burlington, NC), 83-64, in a non-league battle.
