Centennial Huskies (Corona, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA), 93-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Centennial upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Huskies travel to Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Notre Dame (SO) won 66-44 in their recent league bout against Loyola (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Sharks play the Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA) in a Big VIII bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Santiago will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 52-44 non-league win over San Gabriel Academy (San Gabriel, CA).
