The Nashua-Plainfield Huskies basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Central Springs Panthers to 47 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Huskies now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Fork for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Nashua-Plainfield will meet a Warhawks team coming off a 60-54 non-league win over North Butler (Greene, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 6-0.
The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, St. Ansgar was outscored by Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA), 63-30, in a non-league contest.
