The Patrick Henry Patriots trounced the host Christiansburg Blue Demons basketball team by a score of 79-23 in Thursday's league battle.
The Patriots now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blacksburg for a River Ridge battle on Tuesday, January 10. Patrick Henry will battle a Bruins team coming off a 65-63 non-league loss to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 1-8.
The Blue Demons (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Auburn trounced Giles (Pearisburg, VA), 64-14, in a league battle.
