The Clearwater Valley Rams basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Salmon River Savages to 34 in the Rams non-league victory on Thursday.

The Rams now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Logos for a 1A White Pine contest on Saturday, January 7. Clearwater Valley will battle a team coming off a 81-36 league loss to Lapwai (Lapwai, ID). The record now stands at 1-5.

The Savages (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Horseshoe Bend (Horseshoe Bend, ID). The Mustangs come into the 1A Long Pin contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Horseshoe Bend was routed by Camas County (Fairfield, ID), 62-42, in a non-league contest.
