The Columbus Cougars topped the visiting Red Lodge Rams basketball team by a final score of 48-35 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Roundup Panthers (Roundup, MT) in a B District 4 game, on Friday, January 6. Columbus will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 1-3 record after their 84-71 league loss to Red Lodge (Red Lodge, MT).

With the defeat, Red Lodge moves to 4-1 on the campaign.
