Tennessee High School Basketball - Peabody can't hold off Crockett County

The Crockett County Cavaliers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Peabody Golden Tide to 52 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Halls for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Crockett County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 58-37 non-league loss to Dresden (Dresden, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-9.
The Golden Tide (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Dyersburg edged Ripley (Ripley, TN), 62-30, in a non-league contest.
