With the win, Grand Rapids upgrades its record to 1-7 on the season. The Thunderhawks host Duluth East (Duluth, MN) to clash with the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Duluth East lost 70-68 in their recent non-league bout against White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN)

Next up, the Hunters clash with the International Falls Broncos (International Falls, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Denfeld will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 48-44 non-league loss to Lake of the Woods (Baudette, MN).
