The Fort Benton Longhorns (Fort Benton, MT) basketball crushed the visiting Hays-Lodge Pole Thunder Birds (Hays, MT), 75-31 in Thursday's league test.
The Longhorns (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Conrad (Conrad, MT). The Cowboys go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Conrad was trounced by Fairfield/Augusta (Fairfield, MT), 82-25, in a league test.
The Thunder Birds now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Turner for a C District 9 test on Friday, January 6. Hays-Lodge Pole will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 56-46 league loss to Box Elder (Box Elder, MT). The Tornadoes record now stands at 2-2.
