In Thursday's league match, the host Largo Lions basketball team scored a decisive 81-6 triumph over the Friendly Patriots.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA) in a Northern Virginia match, on Saturday, January 7. Largo will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record.
