The Gibraltar Vikings basketball team (Fish Creek, WI), was nudged 67-61 in Thursday's league battle with the host Oconto Blue Devils (Oconto, WI)
The Blue Devils now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran for a Packerland battle on Saturday, January 7. Oconto will battle a Blazers team coming off a 61-54 non-league win over Hilbert (Hilbert, WI). The Blazers record now stands at 7-2.
The Vikings (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Sevastopol (Sturgeon Bay, WI). The Pioneers come into the Packerland battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Sevastopol edged Stockbridge (Stockbridge, WI), 56-47, in a non-league battle.
