In Thursday's non-league match, the host Richlands Blue Tornado basketball team scored a tight 66-63 triumph over the Grundy Golden Wave.
In their next game, the Blue Tornado meet the Graham G-Men (Bluefield, VA) in a Southwest match, on Tuesday, January 10. Richlands will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The G-Men enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 40-30 non-league loss to Poca (Poca, WV).
