The Ridgewood Maroons basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Hackensack Comets to 44 in the Maroons league victory on Thursday.

The Maroons now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union City for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Ridgewood will battle a Soaring Eagles team coming off a 49-43 league win over Bayonne (Bayonne, NJ). The Soaring Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

The Comets (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Paterson, NJ). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Kennedy prevailed over Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ), 57-53, in a league contest.
