Virginia High School Basketball - Heritage knocked off by Jefferson Forest

The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Heritage Pioneers to 60 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Thursday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blacksburg for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Jefferson Forest will battle a Bruins team coming off a 75-64 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 1-7.
The Pioneers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Minutemen enter the Seminole contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Liberty was defeated by Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA), 63-36, in a league contest.
