Minnesota High School Basketball - Lanesboro tops Houston

January 5, 2023: Houston, MN 55943

Lanesboro Burros (Lanesboro, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Houston Hurricanes (Houston, MN), 60-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lanesboro upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Burros host Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN) to play the Trojans in a A Section 1 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Rushford-Peterson lost 56-30 in their recent non-league bout against Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN)

Next up, the Hurricanes play the Fillmore Central Falcons (Harmony, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 72-57 non-league win over Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN).
