The Imbler Panthers basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Pilot Rock Rockets to 30 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cove for a 1A Old Oregon contest on Friday, January 6. Imbler will battle a Leopards team coming off a 54-48 non-league win over Adrian (Adrian, OR). The Leopards record now stands at 8-4.

The Rockets (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Echo (Echo, OR). The Cougars come into the 1A Old Oregon contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Echo was defeated by Burns (Burns, OR), 60-54, in a non-league contest.
