Minnesota High School Basketball - Laporte ripped by Pine River-Backus

The Pine River-Backus Tigers basketball team scored 85 points and held the host Laporte Wildcats to 49 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Verndale for a A Section 5 contest on Friday, January 6. Pine River-Backus will battle a Pirates team coming off a 46-45 non-league loss to Menahga (Menahga, MN). The Pirates record now stands at 1-4.
The Wildcats (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bagley (Bagley, MN). The Flyers enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Bagley was routed by Fertile-Beltrami (Fertile, MN), 79-23, in a league contest.
