With the victory, Laurel upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD) to play the Mustangs in a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Bladensburg won 48-29 in their recent league challenge against Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD)

Next up, the Panthers play the Paul Public Charter International Pirates (Washington, DC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 9. Parkdale will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 64-39 non-league win over Prep Charter (Philadelphia, PA).
