The Law Lawmen (Milford, CT) basketball felled the host Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT), 59-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lawmen (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT). The Trojans go into the Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Lyman Hall was beaten by North Haven (North Haven, CT), 47-37, in a league test.
The Gaels now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to North Haven for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Shelton will encounter a Nighthawks squad coming off a 48-36 non-league loss to Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 5-3.
