The South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs basketball team (Wishek, ND), was overwhelmed 42-21 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Lisbon Broncos (Lisbon, ND)
The Broncos now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley City for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. Lisbon will battle a Hi-Liners team coming off a 59-58 league loss to Horace (Horace, ND). The Hi-Liners record now stands at 0-8.
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Herreid/Selby trounced Langford (Langford, SD), 63-35, in a non-league battle.
