Lower Cape May Tigers (Cape May, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Pleasantville Greyhounds (Pleasantville, NJ), 54-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lower Cape May upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Holy Cross (Delran, NJ) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 6-0. Holy Cross won 48-40 in their recent non-league bout against Willingboro (Willingboro, NJ)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, January 8. Pleasantville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 68-53 non-league win over Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ).
