Washington, DC High School Basketball - Sandy Spring Friends fells Model Secondary School for the Deaf

Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC), 60-45 in a league bout.
With the win, Sandy Spring Friends upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Wildebeests travel to Episcopal (Alexandria, VA) to play the Maroon in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Maroon go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Episcopal won 67-62 in their recent non-league bout against Sandy Spring Friends (Sandy Spring, MD)
Next up, the Eagles play the Burke Bengals (Washington, DC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Bengals go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 59-19 non-league loss to Washington International (Washington, DC).
