Indiana High School Basketball - Monroe Central routs Union City

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Union City Indians (Union City, IN), by a count of 71-50.

The Golden Bears (3-8) will now prepare for their outing against Winchester Community (Winchester, IN). The Golden Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Winchester Community smashed Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN), 73-35, in a non-league outing.

The Indians now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Northeastern for a Tri-Eastern outing on Thursday, January 12. Union City will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 56-35 non-league win over Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN). The Knights record now stands at 8-3.
