In Thursday's league outing, the Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ), by a margin of 61-54.

The Red Devil (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Cranford (Cranford, NJ). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Cranford was tipped by Summit (Summit, NJ), 47-43, in a league outing.
