The Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) basketball nipped the host Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA), 62-58 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Crusaders (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Salisbury Township got by Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA), 52-46, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Southern Lehigh for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Moravian Academy will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 48-40 league win over Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-2.
