The Moses Brown Quakers basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting St. Patrick Academy Padres to 34 in the Quakers league triumph on Thursday.

The Quakers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Smithfield for a Division 3 contest on Monday, January 9. Moses Brown will meet a Northmen team coming off a 66-60 league win over Paul Cuffee (Providence, RI). The Northmen record now stands at 9-2.

The Padres (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Mounties enter the Division 3 contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Mount St. Charles Academy was routed by Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI), 60-37, in a league contest.
