The Portage Warriors (Portage, WI) basketball knocked off the visiting Sauk Prairie Eagles (Prairie du Sac, WI), 66-57 in Thursday's league test.
The Warriors (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Reedsburg (Reedsburg, WI). The Beavers go into the Badger - West test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Reedsburg went down by DeForest (DeForest, WI), 72-68, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Baraboo for a Badger - West test on Tuesday, January 10.
