Washington High School Basketball - Woodland knocked off by R.A. Long

The R.A. Long Lumberjacks basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Woodland Beavers to 42 in the Lumberjacks league triumph on Thursday.
The Lumberjacks now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Vancouver for a 2A Greater St. Helens contest on Monday, January 9. R.A. Long will battle a Trappers team coming off a 58-45 league loss to Washougal (Washougal, WA). The Trappers record now stands at 0-11.
The Beavers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mark Morris (Longview, WA). The Monarchs enter the 2A Greater St. Helens contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Mark Morris ran past Brewster (Brewster, WA), 69-64, in a non-league contest.
