The Rainier Mountaineers basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Toledo Indians to 59 in the Mountaineers league victory on Thursday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eatonville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Rainier will battle a Cruisers team coming off a 69-47 league win over Montesano (Montesano, WA). The Cruisers record now stands at 4-5.

The Indians (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Kalama (Kalama, WA). The Chinooks come into the 2B Central contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Kalama was nudged by Toutle Lake (Toutle, WA), 70-24, in a league contest.
