With the win, Whitmire upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Wolverines host Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC) to clash with the Blue Flashes in a A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Blue Flashes go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Calhoun Falls Charter won 76-44 in their recent league bout against Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the McCormick Chiefs (McCormick, SC) in a A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 67-45 non-league loss to Abbeville (Abbeville, SC).
