In Thursday's league outing, the Spring Grove Lions (Spring Grove, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Southland Rebels (Adams, MN), by a margin of 57-33.
The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Loyola (Mankato, MN). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Loyola smashed Cleveland (Cleveland, MN), 86-31, in a league outing.
The Rebels now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to LeRoy-Ostrander for a A Section 1 outing on Tuesday, January 10. Southland will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 101-45 league loss to Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-7.
