The Taconic Braves (Pittsfield, MA) basketball crushed the host West Springfield Terriers (West Springfield, MA), 62-40 in Thursday's league test.
The Braves (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Pittsfield (Pittsfield, MA). The Generals go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Pittsfield walloped Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT), 88-67, in a non-league test.
The Terriers now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Agawam for a Suburban test on Monday, January 9. West Springfield will encounter a Brownies squad coming off a 66-64 league loss to Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA). The Brownies record now stands at 3-4.
