Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA), 59-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Castro Valley upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Trojans host Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA) to play the Dragons in a bout on Friday, January 13. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 12-0.

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Berkeley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
