The Chico Panthers (Chico, CA) basketball crushed the host Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA), 71-43 in Thursday's league test.
The Panthers (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Lassen was trounced by Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA), 50-34, in a non-league test.
The Wolves now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Foothill for a test on Thursday, January 12. Shasta will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 66-59 league win over Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-3.
