The Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), 50-47 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Coyotes (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Wildcats now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Goddard for a non-league test on Saturday, January 21.
