Virginia High School Basketball - Woodson ripped by West Springfield

The West Springfield Spartans basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Woodson Cavaliers to 32 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South County for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. West Springfield will meet a Stallions team coming off a 55-39 non-league loss to Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 0-5.
The Cavaliers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Bruins enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Lake Braddock triumphed over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA), 54-47, in a non-league contest.
