Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ), 29-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ocean City upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Raiders host Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ) to play the Panthers in a Cape/Atlantic - United bout on Monday, January 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Middle Township won 54-31 in their recent non-league bout against Timber Creek Regional (Erial, NJ)

Next up, the Braves play the Millville Thunderbolts (Millville, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Absegami will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Thunderbolts go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 55-44 non-league loss to Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ).
