The Immaculate Heart Academy Blue Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Academy of the Holy Angels Angels to 48 in the Blue Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Blue Eagles now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Passaic County Tech for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Immaculate Heart Academy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 39-31 league loss to Kennedy (Paterson, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.

The Angels (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Midland Park (Midland Park, NJ). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Midland Park was defeated by Cresskill (Cresskill, NJ), 52-18, in a non-league contest.
