Alabama High School Basketball - Ariton ripped by Barbour County

The Barbour County Jaguars basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Ariton Purple Cats to 15 in the Jaguars league triumph on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Long for a 2A Area 3 contest on Tuesday, January 10.

The Purple Cats (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL). The Knights enter the non-league bout with a 8-3 record.
